This year we will no longer be mailing individual thank you notes for every donation. We would rather save the money for our wounded warriors and our programs. We have to send out IRS letters at the end of the year, so your thank you will come then unless we have your email address, in which case you will receive a thank you email for every donation. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Our warriors are our concern and we prefer to spend our funding on them.

Dear Friends, Supporters and Wounded Warriors;
As Executive Director of Tempered Steel, I want to wish everyone of you who helped make 2011 a very fun, rewarding and productive year a happy holiday season.

Tempered Steel had speakers at 25 events, schools or corporations, our speakers were featured on 2 national news programs, 6 local news programs, multiple written articles nationwide, 1 international story and increased our speaker base from 8 to 25!

We added a board member, received our official 501(c)(3) status as a public charity, received foundation grants and public financial support.

We are looking forward to 2012 and already have speakers booked for 5 events.

Our mission is still the same; telling "The Stories Behind the Scars and Wounds of War". And with the end of the Iraq War we will have greater numbers of wounded military members coming home who will need our support more than ever.
